Rookie of the Year is dedicated to the most outstanding 13 year old player in the League. This award is based on the player's on field performance, attitude and batting average. This Award made it's debut during the 2005 season.
Begining with the 2012 Season, the League split into two separate baseball Divisions. Junior Varsity Division for 13 and 14 year olds, Varsity Division for 15 to 17 year olds. Rookie of the Year award remains dedicated to 13 year olds in the Junior Varsity Division and 15 year olds in the Varsity Division.
